The City Walls

The City Walls is one of Stirling’s liveliest and most unusual pubs. Regarded as one of the town’s most beautiful spots in which to enjoy a leisurely pint, The City Walls boasts a rooftop beer garden unlike any other, from where visitors can enjoy panoramic views over the Kings Park area of one of the most historic cities in Scotland. The indoor area of the bar is stylish and spacious; you certainly won’t feel squeezed while manoeuvring around the tables. Once you make your way to the bar itself, you’ll find an extensive selection of drinks awaiting your perusal. Ranging from draught and bottled beers to wine (by the glass and bottle) as well as spirits and cocktails, every taste is catered for at The City Walls. As you would expect from such a quintessential Scottish pub, whisky-lovers are spoilt for choice, with an array of fine malts to choose from. Food is also served throughout the day at The City Walls (11am-9pm), and it’s far better than your average pub grub. The pub’s modern menu includes gourmet burgers, nachos and BBQ ribs, with prices some of the most reasonable in the town. The City Walls is a friendly establishment which is as suited to grabbing a pub lunch as it to a night of drinking and dancing.

Nicely fitted out Belhaven pub restaurant within the old city walls. Small beer terrace on the upper wall. Good attention to service
